  • Is surrogacy legal in the United States?

    Yes, surrogacy is legal in certain states, including Nevada (Nevada Revised Statutes 126.500-126.810).

  • Who can become a surrogate?

    Requirements include being a U.S. citizen or green card holder, age 20–35, having had a healthy pregnancy, BMI ≤25, and English comprehension at 4th-6th grade level.

  • What screenings will I have?

    Drug screenings, infectious disease tests, medical exams, psychological evaluation, and background checks.

  • Is medical insurance provided?

    Yes, throughout pregnancy, delivery, and a six-week postpartum period.

  • How much compensation will I receive?

    Baseline compensation $45,000-$85,000, paid in portions from escrow starting at embryo transfer, continuing monthly, final at delivery. Compensation also includes possible bonuses for multiples, mileage, lost wages, meals, housekeeping, and babysitting.

  • Can I continue working when I'm a surrogate?

    Yes, continuing to work is encouraged unless medically restricted. Our surrogacy contracts cover medical leave or bed rest.

  • Are travel expenses covered?

    Yes, for you and a companion, including airfare, lodging, meals.

  • Do I have legal support?

    Yes, you have an independent attorney paid for by the program.

  • What happens when the baby is born?

    Intended parents receive the baby immediately. Surrogates typically stay 24 hours post-vaginal birth, 2–4 days for C-section.

  • Will I need to produce milk for the baby?

    Typically no, although arrangements can be made separately if desired.

  • Can I prepare anything ahead of time?

    Yes. Please have a recent pap smear and complete delivery records ready, and maintain a healthy weight.

  • What if my BMI is over 25?

    We can assist with safe weight loss to meet the BMI requirement.

  • What if I smoke or use marijuana?

    Quit at least six months prior. Negative tests for nicotine, alcohol, cannabis are required.

  • Is genetic testing performed on surrogates?

    No, surrogates do not undergo genetic testing.

  • Can I switch intended parents?

    Yes, you may switch before signing the contract.

  • What if I arrange surrogacy privately after starting with the agency?

    If this happens, you must reimburse the agency for incurred expenses before obtaining your records.

  • Is the program regulated and safe?

    Yes, our surrogacy program is regulated by the FDA and CDC. Our clinics and physicians are fully licensed and board-certified.
